Holiday inn Express in Cullman Very convenient for travelers on I-65. Many excellent restaurants and even shopping are located in the area. A very good, clean room, large bath with excellent shower, microwave and one of the best and largest mini-fridge ever in a hotel room! The king bed has a new and incredibly comfy mattress which provided an almost perfect night's sleep. The bedding was good but not overly soft and while super clean, you are vaguely aware of the scent of bleach. Small downside to having well laundered sheets! Some disappointment with the pillows as they were all identical with no choice of firmness level and these were somewhat lumpy and too soft for me. The air conditioning worked quietly and efficiently and although there was a full house, we were never Disturbed by noise from other quests. The breakfast room is very well appointed and while busy for an early hour on a Saturday morning, there were plenty of tables and chairs. Our hostess worked diligently to keep the breakfast food items fresh and well supplied. A satisfying variety of standard traditional food for breakfast is available and you can choose healthy or maybe just a little less! They do have their signature warm little cinnamon rolls! All in all, a nice place to stay whether for a single night or a few more if needed. Singles, couples families, everyone should be very satisfied with their visit.

The room is very nice except that we paid for a garden tub with jets and even called 4 hours before arrival to the motel. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was ice cold. The management said they adjusted the heat but the pool is still ice cold. I only rented the room for the heated pool and the garden tub. The tub not to mention has a huge crack in it and there was left over food left in our fridge. I am very upset and don’t think I will ever return

I travel a lot for work and while the hotel is new, they don't seem to have a good flow for parking outside. I drive a 35ft box truck and see that I can pull around back to which I assume has more parking. What I find is a tight one way which was tight causing me to come up on the curb and also have some small tree branches hit the top of my truck. No damage to the tree or my truck mind you. The manager ( who was outback taking a smoke break) came around to complain that I need to move my truck and not take up the four spaces. Wanting me to park my my truck with my very expensive equipment inside on the street. This upsets me when I have a reservation with this hotel. I don't mind being asked but when someone comes up and demands me to do something I become hesitant. Also all employees where outside having a smoke break so no one was at the front desk when I arrived. I would recommend Holiday inn look into new management for this hotel before this manager run it into the ground. I stayed here on 11-15-2017 and please I recommend a GM look at the cameras to see no one at the desk at 4:55pm. The room was nice for the most part so this is why I gave it two stars.

Mostly great accommodation. The beds are fantastic. The shower curtain situation is less than desirable, as is most of the breakfast options. The shower curtain is cloth; if taking a hot shower the cool air from the bathroom is pulled under the curtain, causing a draft. This allows the curtain to billow against you for the duration of the shower. They need to be a bit longer and weighted. The breakfast includes a wide assortment of items, but they are standard hotel "heat and eat" items.

The staff is phenomenal! They made us feel like we were at home. Cassie, a gal working the front desk one evening, went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying my stay. To the cleanliness of the rooms and the wonderful breakfast it was a great time. Only low point would be lack of hot tub and how dark the pool area was.
