5. Had to use my personal phone to call the front desk and ask them to replace the phone in the room.
I was highly disappointed in my stay.
I felt like I had stayed in a rent by the hour hotel. I had to give 1 star to be able to post. They are not worth it. I called 4 days ahead and when I got there the toilet seat had mildew and mold inside the toilet. The bed had black hair in it. There was only 2 bath towels and 1 wash cloth and 1 had towel that had blood on it. There were 2 of us staying there for a cross country meet. I told the people at the office but they could not return my money so I stayed as I didn't have enough money to relocate. The front desk gave me an email and phone number I could call. When I contacted Wyndham hotels they informed me that I should have contacted the front desk for a refund but they would like to give me a discount on my next visit. I will not be staying with them again! This room did not even have hot water and when I turned on my hair dryer the lights would go off in the room.It was a cool night and I wanted to turn on the heat but they had placed a fire detector directly over the heat. The fire alarm went off so I had to turn the heat off and be cold. Good luck if you decide to stay here. They will not refund your money! Don't stay in room 227.
3. I booked with a child under one and they didn't offer a crib. After I called the front desk and asked for one, an attendant brought a pack and play with poop stains on the pad the goes in the bottom.
I do not recommend the Days Inn in Cullman, AL. Overall I felt like the room wasn't clean. I have stayed at other Days Inn locations and got a way better experience.
1. There was garbage and toys under the bed skirt on the floor next to the bed.
4. Coffee maker didn't have all the parts to it.
The hotel had its ups and downs. It was cheap and easy to get to from the highway. The room was kind of dirty and the shower was grimy. Beds were pretty hard. The front desk was very personable and nice.
It is what it is. Our room was a lot dated and a lot tired. And smelled of smoke in a non smoking room. AC was super cold. TV worked. Beds were firm and slept well for me. The red light bulb in the bedside light was a special touch.
2. Toilet seat had a stain that couldn't be wiped off and should have been replaced.
The staff were courteous and the prices reasonable. The WiFi speed was sufficient to stream video our entire stay flawlessly, and our room's audio video setup was user friendly enough that even a novice could fulfill their entertainment needs. The rooms weren't too fancy, but they were clean and comfortable with cold air conditioning and warm blankets. The only issue we had was a malfunctioning ice maker which didn't really affect our overall positive experience. I didn't get a chance to try the pool, but I would definitely stay at days inn again and be sure to not miss the opportunity to take a dip. If you need a place to rest while traveling on i65, quality and value meet at Days Inn in Cullman.
