Facilities were great. What put it over the top though was the staff. Annie, while I was feeding my daughter her bottle downstairs, approached and kindly asked if I wanted anything for her or if I'd like some water while there. Rarely do you get service like that - made it feel so "homey."
I had to stay at this hotel before a couple of times. I stayed there probably about four times. The hotel for the most part has been clean. However, thier was one night we had to check in late. They gave us the room we booked...BUT, unfortunately the room was nasty. I always check for bedbugs now it doesn't matter where we stay. I did not find bedbugs THANK YOU Jesus! I pulled the sheeting off the back side of the bed and urrgghh it was so dirty really nasty. I was Not staying in that room period. We went to the desk and they had another room just like the one we booked before, it was just a few floors up. The Hampton Inn gave us a night free and more of a discount on top of a discount we all ready had. The room was nice and clean and we haven't run into that problem again with them. So they earned my trust again along with my money but, believe me I always check the room out before I do anything!
Room was clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was fine, staff were pleasant.
We have stayed at this Hampton numerous times, as it is halfway between our home in Florida and the homes of our kids and grandkids in Indiana. We have always had good, clean, comfortable rooms with excellent service from the staff. Easy on and off the interstate.
Very conveniently located in downtown Cullman with in walking distance to several restaurants including Logan's Steak House, Cracker Barrel and numerous other restaurants. You can buy beer and alcohol in Cullman now, but not on Sundays. They are remodeling the hotel and our rooms on the 3rd floor are complete and extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly when we checked in and prices are reasonable. Free breakfast from 6 to 10 am. So far I recommend staying here.
