Great place to bring the family. I've been coming here since I was a very small child. They have a train, which the children love, plenty of room to fish, picnic tables everywhere, pavillions for birthday parties or other events, putt putt golf, and plenty of shady areas to just relax. There used to be a mini zoo as well, but it was done away with. Not sure if it was a budget issue, or if the animal rights nuts threw a fit about it. Either way, it's a nice park.
Wonderful family friendly park with lots of amenities. It offers paved walking/biking trails as well as off road trails, several pavilions and picnic tables, a fenced in playground area, a water park for small children, a handicap accessible swing set. The train around the lake is a cute little attraction although it is not always open, and during the month of December the park becomes a drive-through light show. There is also a small fenced in dog park in a wooded area.
We love coming here. There is a lot to do! Lots of free fun, and other things u can pay for like train ride and boat rentals, bouncy house is fun for little kids! The prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly! U can have a great time with the whole family for little to no money. U definitely need to go of u haven't been or are visiting. The camping here is also great! Very nice facilities
With putt putt golf,a huge play ground,paddle boats and so much more you can't not love this place. We spent the entire day there and all the kids,ages 8-15, found something to do. So much fun!
I love this place, can't get any better. They recently added a splash pad play area for the kids and have added to the kids play area, swing sets and other cool jungle Jim climb sets. They have mini golf, train ride, and paddle boats. Not to be looked over is the military part of the park. This is way cool. I went for the first time this year when they decorate for Christmas and I can't say enough about how cool this was, it's a must go!!!! We have also had birthday parties here and it was great for the kid's, they loved it... Thanks to all for their hard work they have done to make this park the best..
