Went shopping for a Bible for my wife. Bibles are organized by translation and there are plenty of options available for each. They did not have a single NET translation though. The rest of the store is filled with knicknacks and other stuff I was not interested in. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered to gift wrap our purchase for free. I will definitely be returning for any Bible purchases in the future.
Decent selection of real bibles (KJV), but even more false bibles (niv, esv, nlt, nkjv, rsv, nasb, etc.) They also sell Catholic paraphinalia unfortunately.
I called this business to ask about a version/printing of the Bible that I am having trouble finding. The lady that answered the phone did not know what I was talking about, and did not try to find out what I was talking about. So I tried to "educate" her as to what I meant, and she just said they didn't have them. I asked if she could help me and check, and again, she just said they didn't have them. I know she didn't know what I, or she, was talking about, because when I asked for the specific printing I was looking for, she said, "Isn't that what all ESV Bibles are?" That's when I "educated" her on the fact there was a difference in paragraph form and verse-by-verse. I can't believe she wouldn't even offer to get with someone who did know and make an effort to help. In comparison, I was at a Christian bookstore yesterday where the lady practically bent over backwards to help me find what I was looking for and answer my many questions.
